Melanie Tan is a Khmer-American storyboard revisionist who has previously freelanced for clients such as Cartoon Network. Growing up in Massachusetts and now based in Glendale, CA, she has a deep passion for comics and creating children’s media that represents people like her.

 

Since 2018, her work with the Youth and Media Project at Harvard University has been featured in presentations and academic papers, working closely with researchers and a team of specialized artists to illustrate how teens use technology today. 

 

Melanie graduated with a BFA in Animation from the Massachusetts College of Art and Design, with departmental honors.

She lives in Glendale, CA and is seeking union full-time and freelance storyboard and production work.
